DESCRIPTION: Inositols are important molecules in promoting female fertility and in sustaining physiological pregnancy. Myo-inositol, a major form of Inositol, has an established role in human physiology. Myo-inositol represents the most abundant inositol isomer in humans. Supplementation with Myo-inositol helps for the correct development of oocytes and the progression of embryogenesis. Myo-inositol enhances the probability of achieving pregnancy and reduces the onset of adverse maternal effects and neonatal outcomes. Specifically, in the pursuit of pregnancy, Myo-inositol proved to induce ovulation and restore menstrual cycle in infertile women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). During pregnancy, Myo-inositol reduces the risk of altered metabolic conditions like Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM), which may lead to miscarriages or stillborn babies. D-chiro-inositol is also important in promoting female fertility. Deficiency of D-chiro-inositol in peripheral tissue causes insulin resistance that leads to hyperandrogenism in ovaries which results polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Supplementation with D-chiro-inositol has been clinically proven as an effective treatment of ovarian cyst and PCOS associated metabolic disorders. D-chiro-inositol helps to regulate the balance between androgen and estrogen by decreasing luteinizing hormone and serum testosterone level. It improves glucose tolerance and reduces circulating insulin. It reduces oxidative stress on follicle and decreases total cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It helps to improve and regulate normal ovulation. Supplementation with Vitex helps to restore hormonal balance by stimulating the hypothalamuspituitary axis to secret right hormones in the right amounts at the right time. In the women with PCOS, supplementation with Chromium Picolinate effectively reduces insulin resistance and treat hyperandrogenism. Supplementation with L-Methylfolate increases peripheral sensitivity to insulin, and thus restoring normal homocysteine levels. Resveratrol, an antioxidant helps to restore hormone balance and fertility in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

INDICATION AND USES:

 Reduce hyperandrogenism and insulin resistance
 Improve oocyte and embryo quality
 Help in ovulation and increase pregnancy rate
 Improve action of FSH via AMH
 Regulate menstrual cycle
 Protect egg against free radicals

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Orally 3 tablets daily after meal for 3 to 6 months or as directed by the healthcare professional.

CONTRAINDICATION: Patients with a known hypersensitivity to any component of this product.

SIDE EFFECTS: Well tolerated in recommended dose.

USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION: Inositol is possibly safe when taken by mouth during pregnancy. There isn't enough reliable information to know if Inositol (Myo-inositol & D-chiro-inositol) is safe to use when breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Concomitant use of anti-diabetic drug and Inositol (Myo-inositol) may result in more reduced blood glucose than only anti-diabetic drug therapy.
