JA Scab Bar is an antiparasitic medicated soap designed to treat scabies and head lice infestations. It is formulated to kill mites and their eggs, providing relief from severe itching and skin irritation.

Ø  Menthol (1% w/w): Provides a cooling and soothing effect to relieve itching.

Ø  Aloe Vera (3% w/w): Aids in hydration and skin repair.

Ø  Soap Base and Color: Used for formulation and cleansing. 

How to Use JA Scab Bar

Ø  For Scabies: Wet the body thoroughly. Apply the soap to generate a rich lather, focusing on skin folds and hairy areas. Leave the lather on the skin for 3–5 minutes (or up to 10 minutes, as directed) before rinsing thoroughly.

Ø  For Hair Lice: Apply to wet hair and scalp, working into a lather. Leave on for 10 minutes, rinse well, and comb hair to remove dead lice and eggs.

Ø  Usage Notes: For external use only. Use as directed by a physician, often once daily. 

Side Effects of JA Scab Bar

While Generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience side effects: 

Ø  Mild Skin Irritation: A slight sensation of burning, stinging, or tingling.

Ø  Dryness: Prolonged use may cause skin dryness or itching.
